Pet owners understand the companionship and pure love that our little beasties and fur-babies bring into our lives. Each pet has their unique personalities and always bring us so much joy and comfort to us.
There are also those little beasties and fur-babies that belong to our neighbors, but they like to visit you because you give them extra loves and attention...and treats! Either way, we owe it to them to show our gratitude for their beautiful presence.
DAY 2 of #GAgenerosity:
Thank a pet!
I have no idea who this boy belongs to, but he was super friendly and decided to say 'Hi' to me.
Houdini spied on me (as a stray) when he was a baby...then decided to adopt me. He would often disappear, then reappear out of nowhere...hence, his name. I absolutely love this little chatterbox and our conversations. I am so fortunate he found me.
Of course, he had a brother that I just couldn't bring myself to separate him from...
This little reserved boy is Dickie. He is often camera shy, so I have to be stealthy to get pictures of him. He even tries to hide, thinking I cannot see him...lol! He is a sweet, lovey kitty that also has conversations with me...but with a deeper and more demanding voice.
I am grateful to have these kitty-boys in my life!

For #DVAM, we will be holding our first annual event; "Forward & Free Festival"! Our focus of this event is to bring awareness to our community and remind everyone the importance of Self Care. All proceeds will go toward our core programs we use in assisting our clients on their path to empowerment, healing and independence.

Well, folks...April came and left with a blur! We have been busy! The following is what we have been up to:
We want to give our Volunteer, Ken Meyers, a shout out for connecting us to Red Rooster Welding. We needed a custom made flagpole for our banner, and did they deliver! Red Rooster DONATED their time, skills and energy and produced exactly what we needed.
Anafiel House is grateful for such generosity.
Anafiel House wants to send a warm THANK YOU to Aras Yaseen for dedicating his time and talent with the work he has done on our awesome website! Aras has made himself available to us when we need his assistance with updates to the website. We so appreciate him!
True Life Chiropractic hosted a donation drive for us from March 30 - April 22 with the goal of 300 items... and the response from local donors was overwhelming! Over 1,000 items were donated, AND $250.00 in cash donations!
We want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone at TLC and everyone who took the time to donate their items for our clients. You ALL made a difference :)

This day marks a major milestone not only for Anafiel House, but for a client and her children; TODAY IS MOVING DAY! .
Through our Housing Program, we were able to work with many wonderful people within the community, and assist our client in locating a home to rent!
